St. Maarten – Author of “Healthy & Happy without Diets” and nutrition expert Ay Lin Kho will be giving a lecture about nutrition, health and maintaining a healthy lifestyle on Tuesday, December 2, at 7:00 p.m. at the White Yellow Cross Foundation in St. Johns Estate. Ay Lin Kho studied nutrition and health at the Wageningen University in Wageningen, the Netherlands. While at Wageningen University, she majored in marketing and communications and nutrition science. She worked at nutrition giants Nutricia (Danone) and Yakult in the Netherlands. In China, she was a sales officer at a sister organization of the baby nutrition company Dumex.
In her book, Kho writes about nutrition and health, but more specifically she writes about food, the use of wonder food products, unconscious behavior, the human body and eating lifestyles. Her book is full of tips and real-life examples. With a Western science background and an Eastern Asian health perspective experience from China, Kho bridges the two worlds. In addition, the book offers readers interesting facts, anecdotes and information which are backed by research and experiments. Through this book, “you can make your own truth about nutrition, food and health.” Readers of this book can accomplish permanent weight changes by tackling simple psychological facts about eating behavior.
The lecture is free and open to anyone interested in making a change in their life by adopting a healthy lifestyle. The lecture is an opportunity to learn about nutrition and maintaining a healthy lifestyle from an expert in the field.
