At least 25 contestants for Miss Caraibes Hibiscus title

St. Maarten – A combination of intellect, beauty, stage presence and modeling skills can make the difference when contestants from 25 countries vie for the coveted title in the Miss Caraibes Hibiscus which will take place on December 8 at the Casino Royale.
In addition to the crown, the eventual winner will receive a $10,000 cash prize, gifts from Sports Gallery, L’Orangerie Boutique, Parl Anevue, Touch of Class, Ultimate Jewellers, Hip Up, Shoppers Plaza and Anthony Quintana.

The winner will also be afforded the opportunity to travel to Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, France during the Fashion Week of Paris, Curacao, Puerto Rico, Dominica, St Kitts & Nevis, St Barths, Panama and Nigeria.

The first runner up will receive $2,000 in cash and the second runner up will receive $1,000 said Patrick Eugene, President of the Miss Caraibes Hibiscus Organization.

Following are the basic profiles for some of the contestants that will be gracing the stage at Maho on December 8.

Antigua & Barbuda’s Ranee Laronde age 21 is a receptionist whose hobbies are modeling and meeting people.
Bolivia’s Pamela Justiniano Saucedo age 25 is a student whose hobbies are dancing and horse back riding.
Brasil’s Kessia Thaiene Dos Santos Cortez age 21 is also a student with a passion for singing, sports and going out with friends.
Ecuador’s Tatiana Torres Rojas age 25 loves to model and her hobbies include cycling, going to cinema and reading.
Guatemala’s Nancy Martinez age 21 is a student whose hobbies are modeling and dancing.
French Guiana’s Alvina Plunket age 22 is a student whose hobbies include artistic make up, photography, browsing the internet, sing and listen to music.
