Arrindell offers condolences on behalf of Parliament on the passing of Edgar Lynch

St. Maarten – President of Parliament drs Gracita Arrindell, expressed her sympathy to Ombudsman Nilda Lynch-Arduin Tuesday and the Lynch family at the death of Edgar Lynch (59). Lynch died in his sleep on Monday evening.

Lynch served as an Island Council member and Commissioner under the former Island Territory of Sint Maarten Patriotic Alliance (SPA). He was also very much involved in community life especially in sports and the Christian council and he loved to write, being a co-author along with his brother Julian Lynch of “Know Your Political History.”

“On behalf of the Parliament of St. Maarten, we convey our deepest and profound condolences to the Lynch family and share this moment of sorrow and bereavement,” Arrindell stated while noting that Lynch was also a close family friend of the Arrindells.
