Schotte drops out of coalition with WielsPOSTED: 10/29/12 12:54 PM
WILLEMSTAD – MFK-leader Gerrit Schotte and Pueblo Soberano leader Helmin Wiels seem not to be on speaking terms anymore after Wiels called an unnamed political leader as a sociopath in his radio program. Schotte said it was clear that Wiels was speaking about him. Schotte wishes no longer to be part of a government with Pueblo Soberano.
Schotte said at a press conference last night that Wiels is suffering from emotional immaturity and a lack of responsibility. “He wants to hurt me to the point where I break the agreement. Under the circumstances, I will back off.”
Schotte added that Wiels wants to play the victim card so that he can grow in a next election. The people wanted him as Prime Minister and now he has to take responsibility, Schotte concluded.
