St. Maarten – The passport and not the ID card or the driver’s license is the traveling document, the head of the border control Geronimo Juliet said in a statement issued this weekend. Only Dutch citizens who want to visit Curacao or Aruba are allowed to travel with their ID card. Travelers with other nationalities have to show their passport at immigration, and Dutch travelers heading for other destinations also have to carry their passport.
