Clarification – bottom right hand cornerPOSTED: 07/24/12 12:57 PM
On Monday July 23 we published a story headlined: Audit Chamber awaits formal presentation of annual accounts in which we state that the government will present two annual accounts for 2010 – one reflecting the period of January 1, 2010 to October 9, 2010 that reflects the final period as an Island Territory and one for October 10, 2010 to December 31, 2010 that reflects the first days of being country. The latter statement is not correct. In actuality the government will have an extended book year for the country, which will run from October 10, 2010 to December 31, 2011. Today regrets the error.
