Police issue reminder on i.d. cards

St. Maarten – The police issued a call recently for all people 12 and above to always have their identification card or passport with them at all times. People are legally bound to always have identification by the national ordinance identification.
People who cannot present their i.d. will receive a summons. Non-nationals will be taken to the police station until their identity can be established.
