Methodist Church places focus on men at concert

St. Maarten – The St. Peters Methodist Church is hosting a fundraising event entitled: “Men in concert”. The event will be held at the St. Dominic Secondary School Auditorium on Saturday at 7.00 p.m.

“As we go towards the month of June, which is Family Month, as a church we want to pay some extra attention to the head of the family, our men. Too often we hear very little from them. This event gives them an opportunity to not only share their talent, but to also share God’s word,” a release states.

This event features a host of performers sharing their God given talents with the entire St.Maarten Community. The evening will feature our Supernumerary Minister Rev. Lloyd Brisset, Don Froston, St. Clair Barry, Shabba Jimbe Group, The Torch Bearers, Michael & Marceno Bremer, Marcel Glascow, The Philipsburg Community Brass Band and a host of other performers. The proceeds of this fundraising effort go towards Missions 2012.
