VKS members put to the test in upcoming bivouac weekend

GREAT BAY – The Voluntary Corps of St. Maarten VKS holds a bivouac weekend from this coming Friday until Sunday. The bivouac is a final practical test for VKS-members who follow the soldier 1st class training. Another participating group will be installed on June 30 as VKS soldiers providing they pass the bivouac test and their theoretical exams.
The bivouac takes places on various locations on the island. “The public might notice VKS-members in action and is therefore requested to exercise caution,” the VKs stated in a press release issued yesterday.
