MP Hyacinth Richardson’s mother laid to rest
POSTED: 05/15/12 11:45 AMSt. Maarten – Jane Eliza Richardson-Proctor, mother of National Alliance MP Hyacinth Richardson was laid to rest yesterday. “Momma” passed away on May 7 at the age of 91.
Saturday evening there was a wake at the deceased’s residence on Mesapple Road in St. Peters. Yesterday, the thanksgiving service took place in a packed Methodist Church where family, friends and politicians paid their respects. Among the mourners were Governor drs. Eugène Holiday Prime Minister Sarah Wescot-Williams and Members of Parliament.
After the service, the burial took place at the Cul-de-Sac cemetery.
