Students receive special treat at Etna Ice Cream

Cycle 2A year 1 students of the Marie Genevieve de Weever Primary School and their class teacher Stuart Johnson pose at Etna Ice Cream company on French St. Martin.

St. Maarten – The Cycle 2A year 1 students of the Marie Genevieve de Weever Primary School in Hope Estate visited the facilities of the Etna Ice-cream company on the French Side. The twenty-six students was lead by their classroom teacher Stuart Johnson who arranged the special field trip for them.

“We surely learned a lot about ice-cream and how it is made on St. Maarten,” remarked a student.

“This field trip like others in the past, compliments the classroom learning experience. My students are looking forward to the next field trip as preparations are underway already,” Johnson stated.
