Police patrol catches ganja dealers
POSTED: 12/5/11 1:04 PMSt. Maarten – A police patrol caught two men dealing marijuana in a car with a French license plate in the School Steeg in Philipsburg on Thursday evening shortly after six o’clock.
The officers noticed that the interior light in the car was on and that the passengers were cutting something with scissors. The passenger attempted to hide the substance, but when the officers searched the car they found a container with a large amount of marijuana and small plastic bags with the drug that were ready for distribution. The car’s driver, B.V., and his passenger T.Y were both arrested on the spot and taken to the police station, where the narcotics department will handle the investigation.
