St. Maarten – First Tuesday at the University of St Maarten took on a whole new meaning when the Student Government Association, SGA, which is headed by Zamanda Solomon, held a short yet significant program to mark the end of Black History Month.
The theme for the evening’s events was ‘The Dream’ Accomplished, Leaving My Own Legacy’ and that was exemplified through an interlude of steel pan music, poetry by Roberto Arrindell, modeling by students, capeoira and more poetry from Lenworth Wilson.
